DD BMW since it’s the most practical anyway.

Burn Audi since it’s most likely going to do that anyway.

Which means, on the track, I have to use the FoRS.

DD the X5, since I could use it as a tow vehicle.

Track the FoRS, and I mean fully strip/cage/track that biotch

Burn the Audi, only because I had to burn one of them.

I’d have dailied it, but using the X5 as a tow vehicle was more practical and means I could go full race car on the FoRS. If I could also own a tow vehicle, then I’d daily the Audi and burned the BMW.

DD A8L until it fails (so soon!), then sell to Tavarish. Now DD RS as well, but with a season’s worth of R6s and a spare set of wheels for trackbr0 days.

The A8 is one classy looking vehicle, so this is actually pretty simple for me.

Daily the A8 (because apparently I have a mechanic on speed dial, and a bottomless wallet).

Track the FoRS, as it seems like it’s pretty much a track car anyway.

Flambe the X5.

You see, I think like you, the best car to track is the one that shouldn’t be in a track in the first place.

Kinja'd!!! Raymundo > My citroen won't start
02/02/2016 at 11:40

Kinja'd!!!1

Mostly because I’m partial to wagons. If I absulotely had to have an SUV, I’d go for a VW Touareg R Line. Without going on and on too much, they simply appeal to me for an SUV. Additionally, the sort of person that drives an X5 in my area has sort of created a stigma against it for me. All in all, I just don’t particularly like the X5.

Now I don’t have any quantifiable information nor personally experience to back my opinion (this is afterall the internet; we see a lot of this) and with that said, I could be partial to change my mind given the opportunity to drive one. It has happened before and I’ve even made a purchase for a car that I previously considered a waste of time, that is until I got to know it.

So until I get the chance to drive a X5; BURN THEM ALL!!! :D

DD the Focus, track the Focus, burn the BMW, and keep the Audi to drive in the winter, and give to my future kid for their first car, provided it’s still running.

02/02/2016 at 12:15

Kinja'd!!!0

I mean, yeah it can. The X5 is going to have a much higher tow capacity though.

The A8's capacity is around 5,000lbs and the X5's is 6,000lbs. An extra 1,000lbs is a fair bit of extra towing capability.

Kinja'd!!! My citroen won't start > Chris_K_F drives an FR-Slow
02/02/2016 at 12:17

Kinja'd!!!0

But do you need that extra 1,000lbs to tow the RS? I’m genuinely asking, I’ve never towed anything.

To tow just the car, no. The FoRS weighs about 3,200lbs, and it’d weight a decent bit less if it was turned into a stripped down race car.

However, you also have to factor in the weight of the trailer (avg open trailer is around 1,000-1,500 lbs), parts (wheels, tires, tools, etc), and other such items.

1,000lbs difference could allow you to carry more spare parts or items for the weekend at the track, or possibly even opt for an enclosed trailer over an open one.

02/02/2016 at 12:25

Kinja'd!!!0

Yeah, it’s surprising what some cars are capable of.

Anything really can tow, even if the manufacturer doesn’t recommend it. My buddy just built a trailer for his BRZ to carry wheels/tires and tools to autox and some track days. I’d like to put one together for the same thing, or maybe even to tow a kart.
